As a response, relevant Commercial Express products have now been adapted to include terrorism as optional cover to protect policy holders should they be affected by a terror attack.

One of the greatest benefits of the cover is that all postcodes in England, Scotland and Wales, including central London are covered, allowing anyone to secure cover. The brokerage earned in respect of terrorism is the same as the underlying policy.

The terrorism facility (Pool Re) carries a minimum premium of £100.00 plus IPT and provides cover for the underlying commercial property up to the total sum insured or limit of liability. Terrorism cover is available now for CX Commercial Property Owners, CX Industrial Property Owners, CX Unoccupied, CX Shop, CX Office, CX Guest House & Hotel, CX Public House, CX Fast Food & Restaurant but not currently for CX Let.
