Keen to enable our brokers to cater for the growing Asian market, CX Shop and CX Fast Food have been expanded to cover three new specific trades: Asian Sweet Shop, Asian Clothing Retailer and Halal Butchers.

The policy developments mean brokers will find it far easier to win business from these specialist trades and provide the cover that they need with a specific policy wording for them. Asian sweet retailers often provide catering for weddings and private parties, and the cover can be extended to provide liability away from the premises for outside catering events. This trade also covers vegetarian 
cake shops.
CX Shop now includes a specific trade for Halal butchers, benefitting from the full range of benefits provided by the product and premiums starting from just £355.

Asian clothing retailers are now covered by a specific trade under the CX Shop product. Covering traditional Asian suits, saris and cloth, the policy provides a 15 per cent discount for premises fitted with a roller shutter.
