From the south (M6)
- Exit the M6 at Junction 10. At slip road, turn right at roundabout towards Dudley and Wolverhampton on the A454 (Black Country Spine Road) towards Bilston.
- Continue along dual carriageway, following signs for Dudley. At T-junction turn left, signposted Dudley, on the A463. Follow signs for the Black Country Museum.
- At traffic lights turn right. Continue to the top of the road, with the Black Country Museum on your right.
- Take the first left at the roundabout and the first left again. Go straight ahead to the closed barrier and buzz for assistance.
From the north (M5)
- Exit the M5 at Junction 2 and follow the A4123 Wolverhampton Road towards Dudley.
- Turn left at the next roundabout (Burnt Tree Island) onto the A461 Birmingham Road.
- At the next island take the fourth exit left into Castlegate Way.
- Take the first left and go straight ahead to the closed barrier and buzz for assistance.
