Tenants Contents is designed:
- To provide contents insurance for tenants of rented houses and flats up to 4 bedrooms.
- To provide up to £30,000 contents cover.
- To provide £2,500 landlords contents cover.
Contents are covered for the following main events:
- Fire, explosion, lightning and earthquake
- Smoke
- Riot, civil commotion, strikes, labour or political disturbances
- Malicious acts or vandalism
- Storm or Flood
- Escape of water or oil from fixed domestic appliances
- Theft or attempted theft
- Impact by road or rail vehicles, aircraft or animals
- Subsidence, ground heave, landslip
- Accidental Damage (optional extra)

Excesses
The excesses applicable are as follows (unless otherwise stated):

Occupier’s Legal Liability
Cover of up to £1,000,000 for any legal liability that arises from accidental bodily injury or accidental damage to property including your defence costs.
