CX Let & Ceqonline remain a big hit with agents
Commercial Express agents sent a clear message following the 2007 agent survey. CX Let and Commercial Express’ online trading system www.ceqonline.co.uk were big favourites and many of you remarked upon how the reduced professional and student rate had made new business easier to acquire and renewals to secure.
Many agents considered CX Let to be the market leader for residential landlord’s insurance, couple with the delivery method that is ceqonline agents have stated that Commercial Express is helping them grow their business and increase profitability.

Not all these were positive, less favourable feedback was received concerning the claims facility offered by CMGL and the flexibility Commercial Express offers its agents.
As advised in this newsletter, Commercial Express has now terminated the desktop claims facility with CMGL and has agreed with Navigators Insurance to handle all incidents via Commercial Express Claims. Under the guidance of Karen Woodyatt we aim to provide a fast efficient service that mirrors the underwriting department.
In respect of the concerns over flexibility, we have negotiated with underwriters to increase our underwriting authority allowing us to make quicker more favourable decisions. This is something Commercial Express will monitor closely over the coming months.
The average score of CX Commercial has slipped slightly over the last 12 months and as a result we are in the process of launching a new look CX Commercial which includes a wider range of trades and a more competitive rating structure.
The world of technology and internet trading moves on so quickly and whilst ceqonline is performing well at present, Autumn 07 will see a new look ceqonline with many new features and greater ease of use. The trading system will benefit from a multi screen function and improved suite of reports.
