CX Trailer is an exclusive product designed to insure any type of trailer including horseboxes. Most car insurance policies will cover an attached trailer for third party risks only but not cover any damage to the trailer in an accident, any incident where the trailer is detached from the towing vehicle, nor any loss of the trailer.

CX Trailer is extremely competitively rated and benefits from no rating areas meaning that all risks will now be rated on the value of the trailer regardless of its location and use.

There is no restriction on the type of trailer that can be covered under CX Trailer – this can include general purposes, box vans, flat beds, car / bike transporters, plant, tipping, exhibition, livestock, horseboxes, power boat, dinghy, commercial goods and mobility.   

CX Trailer is underwritten by Certain Underwriters at Lloyds’ and rewards the agent with 17.50% commission.
